why social media use less

Checking memes for fun. They are addictive and useless and does not give you anything in return apart from momentary fun.

Watching photos on Insta. Again, sheer waste of time. It gives you nothing in terms of knowledge and also makes you depressed because photos are deceptive and people often take them for true, comparing them to their own life and feeling sad about it.

Watching irrelevant videos on same topics by different people again and again. Youtube videos are now made with knowledge of playing with psyche of the person who is watching them

Fast image movement, graphics, funny videos, trivia videos, unknown facts are used along with click baits to lure audience and it never leads to anything.

Checking out likes and comments again and again. In real world they do not matter and it is just numbers, it does not mean anything and after a day no gives a damn about them.

That's not because "likes" are some great indicator of marketing success.

It's because the interaction model of marketers and customers/prospects on social media is one of the most interesting and quickly changing fields in communications today.

Things that a few decades ago had to happen in person or by mail now happen instantaneously with people you never even see, and many of them may actually be computer programs.

Sometimes it seems like the whole thing is a big, distributed CRM vending machine.

But it's not one thing. Social media is in fact many things, and they're not really that similar.

That's why "social media" suddenly seems a useless idea. And perhaps it always was.

We live in a new and exciting time, thanks to technology. While it’s true that technology has changed everything, it’s also true that you need to get better at leveraging it.

Never before has it been so easy to share your message. But never before has the channel been so crowded. If you don’t create a message worth hearing, you’ll never build the kind of influence that leads to success.

Perhaps you have a message but don’t know how to share it.

Whatever you want, you have to pursue the right things well or all your work won’t make a difference.

To some people it seems like the microphone is making people rich, but they are missing the point. The money doesn’t go to people who know how a microphone works, it goes to the people who know how to sing.

Social media just makes people louder.

It’s a tool, nothing more, nothing less. The internet provides awesome leverage for a Key Person of Influence, but can be a waste of money for someone else.

If you were alive at the time of the microphone, I would advise you to get good at singing rather than setting up microphones.

Many people have good ideas. The people who make the most money are the people that can pitch their ideas to other influencers and investors.

Social media is addictive especially to teens and can take over your life. I wish social networks were not such a big part of my life and I spent my time more wisely, as everyone is always concerned with the amount of followers or likes they have which is pointless and you wont gain anything from it.
