Can anyone recommend a good place to purchase Type H (3-prong) electrical adapters? Most of those I have found listed on Amazon, Ebay, Etc, are square/Flat and my understanding is that most outlets in Israel are recessed and have the round shape.

I had this same issue in Paris where I had a square adapter that did not fit in the recessed round outlets - would like to avoid the same issue here. I do have a round 2-prong European adapter that I purchased in Paris that I am told might work in Israel as well;however, would like to have a couple of 3-prong just to be safe.

I def agree, do not by the square ones. I had to stack like 3 of them at an angle to get them to fit into the outlet, and then it was precarious at best.

Thank you both! I will take my 2-prong European adapters (I also have a European hairdryer that has a 2-prong plug) and will purchase one of the 3-prong as well.

Anything that works in western Europe (including of course Paris) will work just fine in Israel. Your two-pin plug will fit into the two top holes of an Israeli three-hole socket. You needn't buy anything new.

The three prong is grounding. If you have a 2 prong adapter will will still work.
