What is Leap Force?

The frequent question that I always get from my readers is – When will Leapforce get back to me? They always say that it has been months since I applied but I am yet to hear back from them.

Leapforce takes anywhere from few days to six months to get back to you. In my time, it was quick as few people knew about it back then.

The qualification test for Leapforce (or Lionbridge) is one of the toughest exam that I have ever written. Trust me, I’ve appeared for a lot of them.

Leapforce makes it amply clear, right in the application page, that it is not an easy exam.

The pay rates of Leapforce is one of the best in the industry. If we compare its competitors from the perspective of an Indian search engine evaluator, Leapforce’s pay rates is the best.

Leapforce is open worldwide. If you check their jobs page, you'll see there are usually a variety of openings for people in the US and other countries.

You can work as much or as little as you want, provided there is work posted to do. There is not always work, so despite the high pay rate, I hesitate to tell anyone that they could rely on this as their sole source of income.

You have to take a two part evaluation exam before you can start work. If you fail, you are typically not eligible to take the test again. I say “typically” because they say it when you sign up, but I have heard of some people who failed the test and were then invited to retest a few days later.

I suspect that whether or not you are invited to retest might depend on Leapforce's employment needs. You will receive training materials to look over before you start the test, so since you *may* only be allowed one shot, I would read it backwards and forwards! And no, you are not paid for your time studying.

The first part of the test is general and fairly short, and the second part involves taking simulation search evaluation questions. The second part is very long and drawn out, but you have several days to complete it if you can't finish it all at once.

The website does say that a college degree is “ideal,” but it's not a requirement. There are many people who do this work with nothing more than a high school diploma or less.

You'll need to upload a resume for Leapforce, so listing your skills and qualifications will be especially important if you don't have a degree. You might want to include a cover letter in with your resume for Leapforce explaining why you want the job as well as going into more depth regarding your qualifications.

I did this for a very short period of time, maybe a month, if that. The work wasn't bad and I kind of enjoyed it, but the time-tracking was difficult. It can be really hard to do when you constantly have to start and stop (as I did due to having two very young children at home). I was paid for the work I did before I stopped logging in.

Leapforce has been around a while, so you won't have any trouble finding info in a recent Leapforce review. But, what you'll discover when you start searching is that many people are bitter toward this company for letting them go for apparently no reason.

This is a six month contract position, so holding on to this job is never a sure thing. Definitely keep that in mind if you get accepted to work for them.

A lot of people love search engine evaluation and are able to earn a full-time income doing it. On the flip side, some people cannot take the pressure and find the job very difficult.

I've been struggling for quite some time with agoraphobia and Leapforce/Appen has allowed me to work while I also take time for my mental health. So far I've only worked one project but I have been qualified for multiple.

I completed 1 contract for leapforce. They have been acquired by Appen. My endeavors to get more work from them have been poor due to training issues.

My biggest issue is the training is virtually non-existent. They give guidelines and more or less say have at. No guidance whatsoever. Not sure if they have better training available for the workers at their facility and keep the work at home training poor to keep those workers out.
